Fundraising Dinner Benefits Cancer Fighter
0829 Jack
Help join this young man in his fight against cancer at a local fundraiser event.

Mark the calendar and set aside some time to help out a local family in need this weekend.

A young Oakdale boy battling cancer will be the focus of an upcoming fundraising dinner evening at the Gladys Lemmons Senior Center at 450 East A St., Oakdale.

In an effort to raise money for chemotherapy treatment, young Jack Allenbaugh’s family is putting on a dinner and silent auction. Doors will open at 4 p.m. for a social hour and kids crafts, with dinner beginning at 5 p.m., with the event set for Saturday, Sept. 8. Tickets prices are $20 for ages 10 and up, nine and under admitted free.

There will also be an art table for kids, auction items for bidding on, music, dancing, drawings and more.

Jack was diagnosed with T cell acute lymphoblastic lymphoma in October of 2011 and still has many months of hospital visits and chemotherapy to go.

For tickets or to help out in any way, contact Kristen at 209-840-1086 or stop by CCI Real Estate at 654 N. Yosemite Ave., Suite C in Oakdale.

The entire community is invited to come and help young Jack in his ongoing battle. All donations are welcome and greatly appreciated.
