Fire Protection Board Sets Thursday Session
Stanislaus Consolidated

The first regular meeting of the new year for the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District Board is set for Thursday, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. The session will be in the Station 26 meeting room at 3318 Topeka St. and include recognition of outgoing Board of Directors member Shayne Strasser and a badge pinning for threw new firefighter paramedics.

Strasser will be honored for his contributions as a member of the board from 2012 to 2016. Badge pinning will follow for Adrian Barnes, Cameron Goeppert and Nathaniel Richmond, with the meeting recessed immediately after for a reception.

The meeting will re-convene at 6:30 p.m. and action is scheduled to include appointment of the district treasurer, board officers and committee members. Staff reports will be presented along with committee reports and a closed session is scheduled regarding, among other items, labor negotiations.

Board members include Susan Zanker, Michelle Guzman, Steve Green and Dave Woods, with one position vacant
