On Saturday, May 6, Center for Human Services – Oakdale Family Resource and Counseling Center will host its Third Annual Community Baby Shower. Up to 15 women can attend the event and each woman is encouraged to bring a support person for a total of 30 attendees. To register for the event, call CHS-Oakdale Family Resource Center at (209) 847-0420. Spots will be filled on a first come first served basis and each participant who registers in advance will receive a special prize.

The shower will be a brunch. There will be games, raffles, prizes and every mother-to-be in attendance will receive a gift. To be eligible for the event you must be a new participant in the Healthy Birth Outcomes (HBO) program, a weekly support group for pregnant women who want to learn more about how to have a healthy pregnancy and women who have a child younger than one-year-old. There will be a shower for current HBO program participants later in the year.
