The weather proved to be just what the bunny ordered as Oakdale families as well as some from surrounding areas embarked upon a yearly ritual at Kerr Park – the 12th Annual Kids’ Spring Fest. The annual event is hosted by Kiwanis Club of Oakdale and the City of Oakdale.

Children, from infants up to age 12, were kept busy through the morning hours hunting thousands of eggs distributed between the two baseball fields at Kerr Park on the eastern end of the city. Once their hunts were complete they were treated to games, face painting and free hot dogs barbecued on site by Kiwanis Club members.
