Saturday’s weather was picture perfect for some lazy strolling along the main street of Knights Ferry, with classic cars shined to perfection, ready for their moment in the sun.
Auto enthusiasts from up and down the Central Valley ventured out for the third annual Knights Ferry Classic Car Show, hosted by the Community Club, and organizers were not disappointed. There were plenty of makes and models, food was served, music was played and residents and visitors alike got to share in the spring sunshine and the classics of a bygone era.
“I like all the cars, the band, great ice cream,” said Ed Montoya of Oakdale. “I’ve got two (classics) but I was too late to enter them this year, next year I will.”
