Due to extreme temperatures expected today, the City of Oakdale has offered the Gladys L. Lemons Senior Community Center at 450 East A St. as a cooling center. The center will remain open until 6 p.m. today for anyone needing such assistance.
Also available as a local cooling center is the Stanislaus Public Library located at 151 S. First Ave. The library will also remain open until 6 p.m.
