Oakdale High School’s Sophia Hill is shown with Congressman Jeff Denham. Hill was recently named a 2016-17 Congressional Merit Award winner for California’s 10th Congressional District. She was nominated by OHS Principal Mike Moore based on her GPA, leadership, school citizenship, volunteerism, community service and extracurricular activities.
