Cancer survivors, caregivers and team members gathered over the weekend in Oakdale for the 24-hour Relay For Life. Hosted on the soccer fields at Oakdale High School on Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6, this was a combined Oakdale Escalon Riverbank Waterford event. Attendees helped raise money for the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer as well as bringing awareness about the disease and information on ways to help protect yourself from certain types of cancers.
