The City of Oakdale will host its annual Christmas tree pick-up from Monday, Jan. 4 through Friday, Jan. 15. Pick-up days will be the same as your regular garbage pick-up day. Allow for pick-up anytime between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Residents are asked to help out by placing Christmas trees in front of your house, on the street surface next to the curb and at a minimum of six feet away from cars or refuse cans. Residences with an alley loaded garage, place trees in front of the residence on the street.

Remove all tinsel, ornaments, lights and all other decorations. Remove metal tree stands and nails. Wood stands are OK for disposal.

Do not place trees in alleys, driveways, or vacant lots, and do not place trees out on the street before the program starts.
