Call For Photo Entries At Carnegie Arts Center
Camera

The Carnegie Arts Center is celebrating the variety of artistic creativity found in and around California’s Central Valley. Photographers from throughout Northern and Central California are invited to submit work. Subject matter does not need to be in the Central Valley if the photographer resides in the region. If photographers live outside the valley (Bay Area, Napa region, Coast, Mountain communities, or beyond), subjects or views should represent something of the Valley. Many artists come here for inspiration; many artists live here and take that inspiration with them everywhere. More than 60 photographs may be included in the exhibition and will represent the very best images being created in and of the region today.

Deadline for entering work is Dec. 3; the accepted photos will be on view Jan. 17 – March 18, 2018.

Works in any photographic media may be entered. No size restrictions.

Best of Show award will be $700; four Awards of Excellence will be presented worth $250 each.

A non-refundable entry fee is $15 for the first entry, $10 for each additional entry for members of the Carnegie Arts Center; $20 for the first entry, $15 for each additional entry for non-members. Each artist may enter up to 10 works.

Artists must reside in the central region of California (greater Central Valley and Foothills) or present images reflecting some aspect of the Central Valley region.
