Oakdale Police are investigating a bank robbery where a brazen robber presented his handwritten demand note on a napkin and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
At 2:36 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, police units responded to the Oak Valley Community Bank on North Third Avenue after an unknown white male presented the note demanding cash. As the teller was gathering the bills from the bank drawer, the robber reached over the counter and snatched the money then fled from the store on foot.
Police said no weapon was seen or displayed during the crime.
The suspect is described as a white male, 35 to 50 years old, 5ā8ā tall, weighing 180 to 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, dark grey shorts with a light plaid pattern, black socks, and black shoes with a white stripe.
