The Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) will host the 19th Annual Educational Technology Conference, ETC!2018 on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at California State University Stanislaus (CSUS) One University Circle, Turlock.
The ETC!2018 conference is a professional development opportunity for integrating technology into education. A wide variety of sessions are offered that demonstrate how technology can support student achievement. Sessions are geared to teachers, administrators, support staff, IT professionals, technology coordinators and pre-service educators.
The goal of the conference is to offer diverse sessions that address technology in the classroom using a variety of devices and applications. Many sessions will be offered including Google Apps, Web Tools, Coding, Robotics, Educational Technology, Information Technology, Educational Leadership, and more. According to SCOE’s Technology Learning Resource Division Director Sally Savona, the conference has expanded over the years and continues to be the premier regional educational technology event in the Central Valley.
With over 1,000 attendees and 200 sessions last year, ETC!2018 expands this year with four additional workshops scheduled for Friday, Feb. 23 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and early registration. As in past years, the conference provides a positive learning experience and a great networking opportunity for attendees. The cost is $80 and includes conference materials and lunch.
