Local service organization Soroptimist International of Oakdale’s annual Holiday Luncheon, Silent Auction and Fashion Show will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale. The event includes a lunch catered by Astoria, opportunity drawings for holiday themed baskets as well as other gifts and prizes, and silent auction for handcrafted items and baked goodies.

Kristine’s Designer Clothing of Oakdale will be showing their latest fashions. Bring out your ugly/vintage sweaters for this fun event. Tickets are $20. Tables of eight are available for $160.
