Tis the season for All-Star football games in the Valley and the State Champion Oakdale Mustangs are riding into them. This past week Cullen Bearden was named Defensive MVP in the South’s 30-17 victory over the North in the 44th annual Central California Lions Club All-Star Football Game in Tracy. The South squad was down 17-0 at the half, but Bearden and company rallied in the second half to take the win.

This Saturday, June 24 Bearden along with Zac Thomas and Jacob Tietjen will be representing the North in the 32nd annual North/South Rotary All-Star Football Game. The trio will be heading to Veterans Stadium in Merced for the game. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
