Welcome to Knights Ferry Community Church Pastor Bob Sadler. He has been the interim pastor and has accepted the permanent position.

Carla Doshas would like to thank the community for their kindness during the sad time of Matt’s death. On Saturday, September 20th there will be a celebration of Matt’s life at the River’s Edge at 10:00a.m.

At the Knights Ferry School Board meeting last Thursday Shirley Buell from the Stanislaus County Office of Education explained the Unaudited Actuals, the 2013-2014 financial summary. The Board approved it as presented. The Board also approved the Gann Limit, Instructional Materials sufficiency and the revised 2014-2015-school calendar. Megan Peterson reported the Parent/Faculty Club gave all teachers five I Pads, bought new jerseys for the athletes and gave the Band a Glockenspiel. There is a new addition to the Junior High classroom- a stuffed bobcat, donated to the school. All teachers now have Smart Boards. The Jog-a-Thon will be October 10th. Next board meeting will be on a Tuesday, October 7th.

Congratulations go out to Bill Martinelli, as he will be inducted into the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City at the end of September. Way to go Bill!
