Welcome to Knights Ferry School Ange-David Kouvassi from Africa. He speaks only French and Mrs. Fogarty has a French to English cheat sheet. His first English sentence was “Let’s go” when waiting to jog at the Jog-a-thon.

It really is too bad the covered bridge and the park are shut down. The daily walkers in town always walked through the bridge.

Remember Saturday night, October 19 is free movie night at the clubhouse at 6:30 p.m. The movie is “Hocus Pocus”. Come in costume and bring treats to share if you want.

The next big event in the Ferry is the Pumpkin Roll to be held November 3rd. This is the 50th year the pumpkins have been rolling. The day starts with breakfast at the I.O.O.F. Hall, a craft fair in the clubhouse, and rolling signups at 11:00 a.m. The young children roll at noon on the tennis court. The adults and older children start at 1:00 p.m. There will be food booths, and the Garden Club’s famous pumpkin rolls will be for sale and the museum will be open with a display of “Cricket” photos.
