There were many partaking the good food, from preschoolers to senior citizens. Tristan McCarthy liked eating the stuffing and Tristan Voortman liked eating the sweet potatoes. While taking a break from typing this column, your reporter went to the kitchen and a small bird was flying at the window. It was a Ruby-Crowned Kinglet (I had to look it up). It is a tiny olive gray bird with a scarlet crown patch that is usually concealed. When excited, the ruby crown is erected. This bird kept hitting the window and displaying its red head. This was the first time I had ever seen this bird, at least with the red showing. Drove the cat crazy!
