Greyson the greyhound is recovering from surgery on his torn ACL. He belongs to Lisa and Fred Dolling.

Beverly and Randy Noe have returned from three weeks in Hawaii. They enjoyed golfing, shopping and lying in the sun.

Rafters beware, do not throw your trash out on the river, the Fish and Game Department will give you a citation!

The Ulrich family reunion was held at the home of Marci and Al Bairos. They all had a good time.

Bob and Michele Muller have returned from Flaming Gorge, Wyoming where they enjoyed fishing. Michelle caught the largest fish! Daughter Kim and her husband Wes Banks and granddaughter Brianna spent some time there also.

The Talent Show Mistress of Ceremony was Shanti Cardey, and she also put the show together!

Carol Davis has returned from spending time at her cabin in the mountains. Son Bruce and family joined her there. Carol fished one day, shopped at the Art Shop in Pinecrest and enjoyed her family. She came home and the reunion committee of Oakdale High School Class of 1952 met and set their reunion date for September 8th of next year.

There is talk of a town yard sale on October 2nd. Watch for more information.

Congratulations to the Schlegel family for their Certificate of Beautification from the Knights Ferry Garden Club for their lovely trees along their driveway.

A big thanks goes out to Dick Muniain for taking over the morning opening of the cemetery while Lee Shearer is recovering from shoulder surgery.

Seems Breanna Banks got an early birthday present - a new puppy!

Condolences go out to Diane Boyer and her family on the death of Diane’s mother, Bernadine Adams, who was living with Diane and Jim. Visitation will be at the Oakdale Memorial Chapel on Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. and services will be on Thursday at Oakmont Memorial in Layfayette.

Remember Knights Ferry School starts August 16th, which means more traffic in town.
