Welcome to the Knights Ferry area Richard and Leta Lutz.

They bought Gayle Lund’s Orange Blossom home and Gayle moved to Ripon. Hope to see them at happenings in the Ferry!

At the Sunday Breakfast there were a lot of classic cars from the Valley Springs area. The Foothill Classic Car Club and the American Steel Car Club had Knights Ferry as its destination for a Sunday run.

They all parked on the tennis court so people could take a look at their cars.

Don’t forget Thursday is the Knights Ferry Community Club dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the clubhouse.

The speaker’s topic will be the library.

Knights Ferry School Board will meet during vacation on Thursday, April 12th at 6:00 p.m. at the school.

Public School Night is today, Wednesday April 4th at the school beginning at 6:00 p.m.

There will also be a book fair this night. The Masons sponsor an essay contest and the winners will be announced. At 7:00 p.m. the Eighth Graders will be drawn for a 5 hour workday to raise funds for their 8th grade trip.

On Easter Sunday the service at Frymire Hill will begin before sunrise, about 6:20 a.m.

The Easter service at the church is at 9:30 a.m. Good Friday service is at 7:00 p.m. at the church.

The weather sure has greened up the hills! Hope it stays dry for Easter!

Michael and Maureen McKibban have had house guests from San Jose, Rosanne and Don Seratti. They toured Knights Ferry with Lee, and Sonora and Jamestown. Maureen and Rosanne were High School friends.
