Last week was the second Tuesday community night in town with the chess club, open mic night, and abundance swap. I was driving home and saw a large group playing music and enjoying each other’s company out front of the General Store. I think evenings like that make Knights Ferry a unique and wonderful place to live.

Knights Ferry School is looking for sponsors for their color alley! On October 13th, the school is holding their annual Color Run, a fundraiser where the students run laps on the field to earn money for field trips, enrichment programs, and a lot of goodies throughout the school year. The color alley is a lane where the kids can run through colored powder adding color to their white T-shirts and of course their face! It’s a messy but fun day for everyone! If you are interested in sponsoring a color for the kids to run through contact Lacy Feichter at 209-678-4737.
