It was a busy weekend in town! Stephen and Sandra Lyda’s 50th wedding anniversary celebration was held at the Community Club, tennis courts, and the Odd Fellow’s Lodge. Sandra is a member of the Garden Club and Stephen is a member of the Odd Fellow’s Lodge. Stephen and Sandra’s family and friends dressed nicely for the occasion and celebrated the couple’s happy union for the entire afternoon!

Down the road was Sheatherfest, a music festival held at the River’s Edge. Music echoed through town from about 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and the restaurant’s grassy hillside was full of people enjoying the beautiful day and music. They had local bands, Randy Mandy Band and Good Luck Thrift Store Outlet to bands traveling from Colorado and Santa Cruz. It was a smaller festival than the past but people seemed to enjoy the music and good company.
