Congratulations to Will and Edith Haskell! The happy couple was married in the Knights Ferry Community Church by Will’s Godmother, Shavon Haskell over the weekend. After the ceremony, the wedding party drove a small caravan of golf carts to the Knights Ferry Community Club to celebrate! They invited friends and family from near and far including all of Will’s brothers traveling from back east. It was a beautiful event with blue, yellow, and grey decorations, sparkling lights, and flowers decorating the Club and tennis court area. Will and Edith will celebrate their nuptials with a trip to Yosemite and a round on the golf course!

The members at the Community Club voted to raise membership rates for the Community Club from $35 per family to $40 per family.

The Patton family is adding a porch railing to the front of the Knights Ferry Hotel on Main Street. They presented the idea at the MAC meeting referring to a picture of Main Street dating back to the 1920s and the MAC committee approved the addition to the home!

Knights Ferry School’s first day is Tuesday, August 13. The students and parents are invited to come early to school at 7:45am for a special meet and greet time. Please remember to respect the speed limits through town!
