Congratulations to James Peterson for winning the chute-dogging on Sunday at the Oakdale Jr. Rodeo, pinning his steer in 3.6 seconds! Congratulations to Troy Peterson who participated in the Oakdale Chocolate Festival 5K run and placed second in his division with a time of 22.16 minutes! And finally, congratulations to Megan Peterson for running her first fun run and placing third in her division with a time of 34.00 minutes.

Knights Ferry School is wrapping up their school year with various fun activities. The sixth graders performed a play for the school titled “Night in the Woods”. It was a series of fairy tale stories including Rumpelstiltskin, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel. Taylor Witske played Cinderella and Katee Conde and Judah Prather played Anastasia and Drizella, Macey Davids played Little Red Riding Hood, Brooke Kersten played Rapunzel, and Chase Dugo played Rumpelstiltskin. Darren Barth was the stage manager and the whole class helped to build the props including a tower for Rapunzel out of cardboard boxes.

To finish up the school year, the school has a Movie day, Field day, and a Water day planned to celebrate the school year coming to an end!

Congratulations to the Knights Ferry School alumni graduating this year from high school! Dylan Anderson, Tate Cassaretto, Hayden Cassaretto, Hayden Sundberg, Luke Dickens, Emalee Watson, Eli Elting, Breanna Banks, and Anthony Neely will be graduating from Oakdale High School and Dakota Voortman will be graduating from Big Valley Christian.
