The Knights Ferry School Art Show was a hit! The art show coordinators did a fantastic job displaying numerous artwork pieces from every class. Each month the school learned about a new artist or art technique. The Art Show had all the books the school used for inspiration such as Art from Her Heart, a book about self-taught folk artist Clementine Hunter. It was fantastic to hear parents comment that their child had not done this much art in one school year since kindergarten!

The Knights Ferry Art Studio (KFAS) has made great efforts to contribute to the wellness of the community and the environment. Recently, they hosted a Community Garden Day to weed the garden and plant drought resistant plants in the beds. Thank you KFAS, your hard work is appreciated!

Knights Ferry Church is gearing up for Vacation Bible School! VBS will be three days: June 14-16. Text Heather Wright at 209-988-1693 for more information about volunteering opportunities. VBS is open to classes from Mommy and Me to Junior High. One of my favorite memories is hearing the children sing VBS songs as loud as they can with hopes the whole town can hear them.
