There has been vandalism in the Ferry. The school and church have had minor incidences such as being on the new school roof and turning off the air conditioner. The latest wasn’t minor, the water was turned off at the school in the shed that houses the OID pump and Lynn Duckworth worked overtime trying to find where the problem was and then called the plumber and he discovered the break-in to the shed and the switch thrown to off. This caused a big bill and the school is already close to deficit spending. Please keep your eyes open for any suspicious activity and call the authorities.

The Knights Ferry Community Club’s annual picnic was well attended. They gathered in the Pecan Grove of the park and roasted hot dogs and ate all the good food people brought to share. It was good to see new people attend, as well as old timers.
