Tracy Griesner and niece, Kyla Lewis took a nine-day tropical vacation to Maui. The ladies enjoyed their time in Hawaii and it was Kyla’s first trip to Hawaii.

Knights Ferry was nearly blown away after a storm quickly raged through town. It poured buckets of rain and hail, the wind tested the tin rooftops, and the thunder and lightning had the dogs running for cover! It didn’t last for long but it did last long enough to flood the Voortman’s lower level. Thankfully they were home and were able to lessen the damage to their home as best as they could!

The Knights Ferry School is seeking handcrafts, artwork, and baked good donations for their second annual fundraising bazaar on April 6 (during the Car Show). Please contact Dolly Haskell at the Post Office during business hours or dolleenh@ymail.com.

The Car Show committee is accepting entries for the Knights Ferry Classic Car Show on April 6, 2019. The first 150 entries will receive a free Car Show T-shirt. Please contact Miles Shuper at knightsferryclassic2016@gmail.com for car show entry forms.

The Knights Ferry School fifth through eighth graders travelled by bus to Dodge Ridge for their annual ski trip. For some of the students like Holly Conde, this was their first school bus ride! For students such as David Kouassi, this was their first-time skiing or snowboarding! The weather was perfect for hitting the slopes and most of the kids ended the day with a smile on their face.
