Jim and Diane Boyer have returned from Virginia Beach, Virginia where their son Stuart received his PHO in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. While there they took the granddaughters Adaya, Ambriella and Amiah to Sea World. Stuart, Rosalie and girls live in Lewiston, Montana.

Pat Ramont Johnson spent Mother’s Day with her son Sam and his wife Vanessa and she enjoyed going to the La Brea Tar Pits. On the way home Pat went to Ojai and its museum.

Congratulations to Heather Brockman on her graduation from CSU Chico with a BA in International Relations. Heather is the daughter of Natalie and Gerald.

Michael and Maureen McKibban have returned from a cruise to Hawaii. They were expecting warm weather but Maureen said it was cold. Michael saw flying fish while cruising and Maureen saw a pod of young teen whales. They visited four islands.

The Knights Ferry Kindergarten class got some hands-on work with artists. First, Spencer Shook showed what could be done with material, making monsters etc. The students got to make their own, then Will Taylor talked about song writing and the students wrote their own song. They learned to be able to do what you like in life and you will be a success.

Congratulations go out to Caleb Bairos, son of Marci and Al, and grandson of Kathy Mangante, on having a great, great day of trapshooting at the Golden West Grand in Livermore. He won Varsity High Overall Buckle and the Double Championship Buckle and cash and gold coins. Caleb is a student at OHS.

Lee and Mary Sue Shearer watched the dance performance of 5678 where granddaughter Claire Krippner performed. This was her 10th year in dance and was honored.
