Congratulations to Columbia College graduates with ties to the Knights Ferry area: Tice Damingo, J.T. Borba and Austin Page.

The sixth grade at Knights Ferry School turned in the most Box Tops for Education this year. They will get a pizza party for their effort.

This Thursday, May 18th is the annual Talent Show at Knights Ferry School. A hot dog dinner and bake sale begins at 5 p.m. with the show starting at 5:30 p.m.

At the meeting of the History and Museum Associates, Jason Turner gave an update on the porch repair. It is looking good! Some people have requested on line information on the Peddler’s Faire and a tech is needed to help. The Post Office will have a new sign outside the building. Postmistress Dolly said do not put money or checks in your rural mailbox. Only use the Post Office mail drop for security.

Knights Ferry Garden Club met at the home of Bev Hay and elected Bev as their new President. Leslie Chitwood is Vice-President, Barbara Shook is Secretary and Carole Pelchat will be Treasurer. The end of the year meeting will be June 24th (note it is a Saturday) at the River’s Edge for a luncheon.
