What wild weather this past week! The young leaves on the trees are all over the place, iris blooms bent, then sunshine like nothing happened!

At the Community Club meeting the treasurer reported the income from the spaghetti dinner and the car show will help with the repairs and upkeep of the clubhouse. Secretary Heather Voortman had to resign due to conflicts with her children’s activities. Charilyn Damingo will take her place.

Knights Ferry School Board will meet on April 13th at 5 p.m. Mrs. Travao will present what her students have been learning.

Knights Ferry School’s Spring break will be the week of April 17-21. They will have their Easter Egg hunt on Friday, April 14th. Students wishing to participate should bring 12 plastic eggs with something stuffed inside (candy or prize).

Sunrise Service will again be held on Frymire’s hill starting a little before sunrise. Former Knights Ferry pastor Curt Willems will lead the assembled worshipers.
