This year, the annual Christmas parade had a great turn out with many participants and plenty of spectators to cheer them on. Lee Hetzler led the parade from the River’s Edge down Main Street toward the Covered Bridge driving Benny’s tractor/Christmas train. Many other locals decorated their quads and skateboards and Troy Peterson impressed everyone riding his unicycle. After the turnaround, Liam Voortman decided he was tired of following the crowd and led the parade back through town. If you missed it this year, mark your calendar for the first Sunday in December around noon for next year!

Eric Ulrich’s memorial service had a wonderful turn out of family and friends. Pastor Henry led the service and they invited a few people up to speak and reminisce about Eric. He will be missed but not forgotten.
