Knights Ferry News 12-2-20
Nastasia Sweet

December is here! Our poor town has been cancelling events and gatherings left and right but the locals are still planning to doll up their rides for the annual Christmas parade. Some people may remember it as the parade with more people participating in the parade than actually sitting to watch the parade but the tradition is more about the locals having a jolly time decorating their quads, tractors, and whatever else they use to drive the streets of Knights Ferry. The parade will be December 6. If you want to participate, meet in front of the River’s Edge at 11 a.m.

Another reminder that the Odd Fellows will not have their December pancake breakfast! We will miss those hot pancakes and smiling friends!

Holiday stamps are available at the Post Office. Consider purchasing your Christmas card stamps locally and support our Post Office. It helps keep the doors open!

Remember that if you plan to attend Eric Ulrich’s memorial on Saturday, December 5 at 11 a.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Knights Ferry, plan to practice social distancing and bring a mask.
