The annual Knights Ferry School’s Jog-a-Thon is Friday, October 14th. Enterprising students River, Tristan and Savanna McCarthy worked the breakfast crowd on Sunday gathering sponsors. Winners of the T-Shirt design contest were Lily Sturtevant and Danyca Donahue. The run begins at 9:00 a.m. for the older students and at 10:00 a.m. for the younger students.

Thursday, October 6th is the Community Club dinner meeting at 6:30 in the clubhouse. The Pumpkin Roll will be the main topic with many jobs to be taken care of. Your reporter will not be doing sign-ups this year as she has a booth at the craft fair (Rock’s Rock) so people need to help fill in that job. Also on the agenda is the town cleanup on October 15th starting at 8:00 a.m. with a pot luck lunch later.

The town will be busy the 8th with a bike run that starts and stops in the Ferry. Please watch out for cyclists in the area.
