Knights Ferry News 11-22-23

Happy Thanksgiving! Last week, the Knights Ferry Junior High students served a delicious feast at the Community Club. The feast was a joint effort between the students, staff, and parents. They served the traditional Thanksgiving meal including turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, salad, rolls, and pie. The tables were decorated with handmade placemats and cards with things each student was thankful for this season. Mr. Russell and Mrs. Dickens did a great job helping the students plan a delicious feast!

You might have noticed the mornings and afternoons aren’t as busy with pick up and drop off traffic because the students at Knights Ferry School are enjoying this week off for Thanksgiving Break!

Mark your calendars for the Christmas parade down Main Street in Knights Ferry on December 3rd at 12pm. We might be accustomed to quads and tractors driving down Main Street but on this day, they will be decorated for the holidays!

Main Street has had a little TLC over the last few months. Patti Muniain has been working on her home as well as the park next door and repairing the fence between her home and the park.

The Odd Fellows building is a work in progress but the new siding looks nice. The Kricks have been hard at work on the Knights Ferry Hotel. I enjoy admiring their landscape work in the front yard!
