It was all about the salmon at the 10th annual Salmon Festival in Knights Ferry! Various environmental and wildlife groups set up interactive booths for people to learn about salmon and other wildlife in the local area. A very popular booth was the T-shirt booth where kids could stamp, paint, and decorate a shirt with bright colors and fish shaped stamps. The Lions Club hosted their popular salmon lunch booth. People flocked to the bridge to see the salmon swimming upstream to lay eggs. It was a very nice day to take a walk in the park and entertain the family for next to nothing!

The Knights Ferry Jr High community feast will be November 20th at 11am-12:30pm or until food runs out inside the Knights Ferry Community Club. The Jr High students wish to invite the community members to a luncheon with all the trimmings of a traditional Thanksgiving feast complete with a slice of pumpkin pie. The Jr High students use this opportunity to serve others and learn a little about cooking.
