At the River’s Edge every Thursday is Ladies night, every Wednesday night is music night. On July 11th the Beach Cowboy band will play. It is lovely eating on the deck. Such a beautiful restoration.

Congratulations to Mickie Milam on her 96th birthday. She is the mom of Michel Griesner and Gail Taylor Hunt.

Lee and Mary Sue Shearer heard from their grandson Alex Krippner on one of his best days of his life. Alex, working at the Johnson Space Center, got to sit in Mission Control for 9 hours watching and learning while the Flight Control Team configured ISS for docking and landing SOYUZ 45S with Moscow. Tim, Tim and Yuri made it home safe. He is enjoying the work there.

Don’t forget the annual community picnic on July 7th at 6:30 p.m. at the clubhouse. The club will furnish the hot dogs and drinks. If your last name begins with A-M bring sides or salads and N-Z desserts or nibbles. Lee is making the beans.

The Voortman family has returned from vacationing in Anaheim at Disneyland. All had wonderful time.
