Your reporter has returned from watching a fire on Highway 108/120. It started across from the 50’s Roadhouse and burned up and across the highway. Our fire station was not manned and the Cal Fire spotter plane and two borate bombers were there before the fire engines. The helicopter dipped from Hunters pond and everyone did a good job containing the blaze. Please be careful this time of year as the grass is very dry!
