It is an exciting time - the end of another school year. Students from Kindergarten up are planning on the next adventure.

Former Knights Ferry student Zeb Poust has graduated with a BA in Criminal Justice. He works for the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.

Knights Ferry School will hold a ceremony for Kindergartners on May 31st at 5:00 p.m. The Eighth Graders will graduate on June 1st at 7:00 p.m.

The 50’s Roadhouse had many interesting cars at their car show. Manny said there were about 85 cars and many people taking a look.

Cameron Chitwood is starting on his next adventure, working towards his Masters in History and a teaching credential at California State University Santa Cruz. Seems like he was just at Knights Ferry School.

Congratulations to Thor Hoefer, son of Mickie Martinelli, on his win at Nipawin Professional Bull Riding. It is his second win of the season. Thor is riding in Canada working on a spot in the PBR BlueDEF series and the Built Ford Tough series.

Welcome to the world Amiah Rose Boyer, born May 18th. She weighed in at 10 pounds and was 20 inches long. Proud parents are Stuart and Rosalie. Proud grandparents are Jim and Diane Boyer. Welcoming Amiah home are sisters Adaya and Ambriella. Jim and Diane were up visiting the family but returned home just before Amiah was born.

Nathan Van Ryn was sent to Asheville, North Carolina, by his college because his research project on mosquitoes and the West Nile Virus was selected to be presented by Nathan at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. Way to go Nathan!

Tuesday, May 31st Knights Ferry will celebrate the opening of the Post Office with Congressman Jeff Denham at 11:00 a.m. Come and help celebrate!
