The Knights Ferry sixth graders went to Foothill Horizons for the long-established sixth grade camp experience! They travelled by bus to camp, stayed in cabins with camp counselors, experienced the three-minute shower limit, traveled to Moaning Caverns, and met new friends over the week. The group’s counselors were Knights Ferry School alumni, Matthew Wolfe and Kaeli Sweet!

The fifth through eighth grade will host Shiloh Elementary School for the first flag football and volleyball games of the year. Good luck to all!

The school’s jogathon is scheduled for October 12th and they are trying something new by hosting a color run! The kids will run by sponsored color tables spraying non-toxic colored powder clouds of color as they raise money for their school. The kids will be covered in bright colors head to toe by the end of the fundraiser! They are very excited to try this activity as many other schools and marathon races have done in the past. They are looking for a few more color sponsors if any family or business is interested in making a donation. Sponsors will get a front row seat as the kids run by their booth and through the color cloud! Contact the school at 209-881-3382 if you are interested or have questions!

The town yard sale on October 7th on the Odd Fellows tennis court has been cancelled! But the Odd Fellow’s pancake breakfast is scheduled as always! Please pass this information on to your friends and family.
