Oakdale Junior High School eighth grade students of Dee Hawksworth’s Pre-AP English 8 class were dressed for lunch as they participated in a class Hobbit banquet. It’s an event the teacher has hosted for the past six years to coincide with the students reading the J.R.R. Tolkien classic. Each class was placed in charge of planning the event as well as performing in front of the class.
