Due to the extreme heat forecasted for the Stockton area this weekend, the management of Stockton 99 Speedway and the SRL have decided that postponing this weekend’s race event is the best decision for everyone concerned. The health and safety of the fans and the competitors weighed heavily on this tough decision.

Oakdale driver Blaine Rocha was to be a part of the field, looking for his first win at Stockton, but he will have to wait until the fall.

Date for the originally scheduled July 15 race is now set for Saturday, Sept. 2. At that time, Stockton 99 will host the $10,000 to win SPEARS Southwest Tour Series, $10,000 to win SPEARS SRL Pro Late Model Series presented by Sigma Performance Services and the Spears Manufacturing Modified Series.
