Gospel Concert Features ‘Lighthouse Boys’ Group
music

The award winning Southern Gospel group from Bakersfield, The Lighthouse Boys, is returning to the area with a Gospel concert at Escalon First Baptist Church on Sunday, June 9, at 6 pm. The Lighthouse Boys are celebrating 45 years of ministry and music. They will be performing many songs from their past four decades in Gospel Music.

Since 1974, The Lighthouse Boys have been touring up and down the west coast and parts of the United States of America performing concerts in large and small churches, auditoriums, convention centers and arenas. They have also performed at some of Southern Gospel’s most prestigious events including the Great Western Fan Festival, in Visalia, CA and Suwanee River Jubilee, in Live Oak, FL.

They have released several albums. Their latest “The Lighthouse Boys Ultimate Collection” includes their latest radio single “From Heaven’s Point of View”.

Although members have changed over the 45 years of the Lighthouse Boys existence, they have always focused on maintaining their unique ‘Bakersfield’ sound. They are well known for bringing their own musical style to great Southern Gospel Classics, as well as writing and producing their own songs.

No admission fees are requested for the concert, but an offering will be taken in support of the ministry of The Lighthouse Boys. Escalon First Baptist Church is at 1511 Catherine Way in Escalon.
