Local band Remedy took the stage on Friday night, July 8 to kick off the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Concerts in the Park summer series. A large crowd turned out to enjoy the concert, which ran well over its 8:30 p.m. scheduled end time. The music featured something for everyone, with the band performing a variety of hits from Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance to The B-52’s Love Shack, getting some folks on to the grassy area in front of the pavilion to dance. The Friday, July 15 concert at Dorada Park will feature The Ava Grace Trio and begin at 6:30 p.m.
