Cloverland Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Club is hosting the school’s 8th Annual Art Show this week. It is open to friends and family on Tuesday, May 1 from 8:30a.m. to 3:30p.m. and also on Wednesday, May 2 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Classrooms will also be touring the art show on Tuesday, May 1 during the open hours. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The art show is presented in an art gallery-style and is located in the school cafeteria at 201 Johnson Ave., Oakdale.

Every student, as well as many teachers, at the school will each have a piece of art on display at the art show. This year’s art show theme is “Artastic!” The Art Corps program covers lessons that include texture, value, shape, composition, line, space, color, and famous artist themes.

The Art Corps program at Cloverland is run by a group of dedicated volunteers who have been specially trained to teach the art lessons in every classroom at every grade level.
