Stabbing Investigated

Oakdale Police are investigating an early morning stabbing and are on the lookout for possible suspects.

Early Thursday morning, Oct. 19 at around 1:20 a.m., officers responded to the Quik Stop business in the 600 block of East F Street for a report of a male who was stabbed multiple times in the parking lot in back of the business. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim who advised that the suspects, two Hispanic men in their 20’s, assaulted him to the rear of the business and then fled on foot northbound on North Sixth Avenue.

The first suspect was described as having a red shirt and a mustache and the other was wearing a black shirt and black hat with eyeglasses. The victim was transported to a local area hospital and treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.

Oakdale Police have contacted several cooperative witnesses to the incident and are encouraging any additional persons with information to contact Oakdale Police Detective Don Stilwell at (209) 847-2231 or call Crime Stoppers at (209) 521-4636.
