County Presentation Day Crowns Local 4-H Winners

Orange Blossom 4-H was well represented with their Public Speaking project members on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Stanislaus County 4-H Presentation Day was held at Turlock Christian School in Turlock.

Molly Terpstra gave an Interpretive Reading of The Stockman receiving a Gold Medal and a Command Performance. Cailee Flood gave an Illustrated Talk on Equine Colic also receiving a Gold Medal. Brooklyn Vessels gave an Informative Prepared Speech on Mini Satin Rabbits receiving a Gold Medal and Primary member Kira Vessels also gave an Illustrated Talk on Rex Rabbits receiving a certificate as well as a Command Performance.

These members will be advancing to the Central Area Presentation Day on April 13, to be held in Mariposa. These project members have been working with their fabulous 4-H volunteer leader Mrs. Joyce Reed, who is celebrating her 49th year as a 4-H volunteer leader.
