Because of the Monday, July 4 Independence Day holiday, the Oakdale City Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, July 5 at 7 p.m.
The council plans on discussing the new city manager in closed session and in public session will proclaim July 18, 2011, “Bob Gilbert Day in Oakdale” for Robert E. Gilbert and all his community contributions.
In other matters, the council will name a new airport ad hoc committee and discuss establishing a policy on how late council meetings can run before being continued to another date.
