The Yosemite Community College District has initiated the search process for the next President of Modesto Junior College. The position is currently filled by Dr. Chad Redwing in an interim capacity. At a Special Meeting of the Governing Board of Trustees held in March, the Board selected Cizek Associates, Inc., as the Executive Search Consultant firm that will provide the District with executive search support services for the position of Modesto Junior College President.

Dr. Henry Yong, the YCCD Chancellor, has worked with the Board of Trustees to establish a search process to fill the vacancy. Chancellor Yong is seeking participation from the community in this important search and selection process. The MJC Presidential Search Committee consists of representatives from all college constituent groups, and Chancellor Yong is seeking two community members to assist with the search and selection of the next President of MJC. The Committee is chaired by Dr. Chad Redwing, the Interim President, who is not an applicant for this position. Dr. Yong is inviting interested community members to submit a brief letter of interest to his office by Friday, April 14, 2023. Letters should be submitted to:
