Civil Air Patrol Slates Open House

The Civil Air Patrol’s Lt. Col. Arthur King Composite Squadron 50 is having an Open House on Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Modesto Airport. If you know a young person who is interested in flying, aviation, search and rescue or the military then this is your opportunity to introduce them to a program where they can begin their journey. Squadron 50 only accepts new cadets (ages 12-18) a few times a year. Come out to learn more about Civil Air Patrol and the youth program. The Cadet Program teaches youth ages 12-20 about Leadership, Exploring Aerospace, Aviation Careers, Emergency Services, Physical Fitness, Character Development and much more. Cadets also have opportunities to attend Civil Air Patrol events across the state and the country. The Modesto Airport, Civil Air Patrol - Squadron 50 headquarters are at 700 Tioga Drive, Modesto.
