The Civil Air Patrol’s Lt. Col. Arthur King Composite Squadron 50 is having an Open House on Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Modesto Airport. If you know a young person who is interested in flying, aviation, search and rescue or the military then this is your opportunity to introduce them to a program where they can begin their journey. Squadron 50 only accepts new cadets (ages 12-18) a few times a year. Come out to learn more about Civil Air Patrol and the youth program. The Cadet Program teaches youth ages 12-20 about Leadership, Exploring Aerospace, Aviation Careers, Emergency Services, Physical Fitness, Character Development and much more.
