The Oakdale Chamber of Commerce has a few events on the local schedule, including the annual Ag Scholarship Luncheon on Thursday, March 21.

This marks the 46th annual luncheon and it will be hosted at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Topic for the event is “Log It, Graze It or Watch it Burn” and guest speaker Steven Brink of the California Forestry Association will discuss the overly dense national forests and the impact of natural disturbances.

Lunch ticket cost is $25; the event supports Oakdale’s agricultural heritage and generates revenue for youth scholarship funds. There will also be ag displays, product giveaways and raffle opportunities.

The Annual Oakdale Testicle Festival, presented by the Oakdale Rotary Club in cooperation with the Chamber, will be celebrating 38 years of our local western tradition of cooking up and serving rocky mountain oysters as a community fundraiser. The event will be held on Monday, March 25, at the FES Hall in Oakdale from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., where you are guaranteed to “Have A Ball!”

Tickets are $65 in advance and include dinner, a hosted bar, a raffle and live auction. If available, tickets at the door will be $75. Tickets are available from any member of Oakdale Rotary, at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club or the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce. Testicle Festival souvenir merchandise and tickets can also be purchased on line at www.oakdaletesticlefestival.com.

The Oakdale Rotary Club is non-profit organization and all proceeds from this event see their way back to the community.

Also coming up is the downtown Pours in Stores, set for Thursday, April 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 pm.; contact the Chamber for tickets at 209-847-2244.
