Trunk Or Treat Coming To Micke Grove Park

San Joaquin County Parks presents a ‘Trunk or Treat’ event on Friday, Oct. 14 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; gates will open at 3:30 p.m.

Hosted at Micke Grove Regional Pak, 11793 N. Micke Grove Road in Lodi, the zoo will close that day at 1 p.m. but reopen for activities for the afternoon and early evening.

There will be decorated cars, kids crafts and games, pumpkin decorating, food trucks and lots of candy.

There is a $5 parking fee but no added cost for entry to the event.

Participating cars are welcome; decorate your car in a fun theme and join in for the candy distribution. Candy donations are needed as well and may be dropped off weekdays from 8 am. to 4:30 p.m. at the Park Office, 11793. N. Micke Grove Road, Lodi. On weekends, donations can be left at the fee kiosk at Micke Grove Regional Park or Oak Grove Regional Park.

The festivities are open to kids age 12 and under; please no scary or oversized costumes and children must be accompanied by an adult.
